The Belarusian delegation of the Ministry of Defence, headed by Defence Minister Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, has arrived in the Russian Federation to participate in the III International Anti-Fascist Congress “For the Unity of All Anti-Fascist Forces, for the Complete Victory over Nazism”. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus.

The Congress, timed to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, will be held on April 30, 2025 in the Congress and Exhibition Centre ‘Patriot’ near Moscow.

The program of the event includes a plenary session, thematic sections, as well as scientific and practical conferences on the preservation of historical memory.

It is reported that representatives of the Belarusian military delegation headed by Defence Minister Viktor Khrenin laid flowers at the monument ‘Mothers of the Winners’ in the military-patriotic park of culture and recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation ‘Patriot’. The image of the sculptural composition ‘To the Mothers of Winners’ is based on a grieving female figure holding an eternally burning candle - a symbol of love and memory.
