The Belarusian and Russian Defense Ministries discussed cooperation in the military-technical sphere

A working meeting was held in Moscow between Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov and Major General Valery Revenko, Head of the Department of International Military Cooperation and Assistant to the Minister of Defense of Belarus. During the consultations, the parties held a detailed discussion of the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres, according to the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense.

Particular attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming meeting of the heads of the two countries' defense ministries. The defense ministers of Belarus and Russia plan to hold talks during the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member states, which will take place in Moscow on April 2. Following the meeting, the parties noted the well-coordinated interaction and the prompt resolution of all pressing issues.

The Belarusian delegation's work in Moscow continues. Today, Major General Valery Revenko will lead the delegation at the Coordination Meeting of the Heads of International Military Cooperation Agencies of the Defense Ministries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
