Russian FM to attend security conference in Minsk on 26 October

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is set to take part in an international conference on security in Minsk on 26 October, Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexey Zaitsev told a briefing on 20 October, BelTA has learned.

“On 26 October in Minsk, the Russian foreign minister will take part in the high-level international conference “Eurasian security: reality and prospects in a transforming world”, organized within the framework of Belarus' presidency in the Collective Security Treaty Organization,” Alexey Zaitsev said.

According to him, the Russian foreign minister is set to speak at the plenary session of the forum, where he will outline the Russian assessment of the security situation in Eurasia.
