Putin, Khrenin, and Belousov observe the Union State's strategic exercises "West 2025"

The culmination stage of the joint strategic exercises of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, called "West-2025", is taking place at the Mulino training ground.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, and State Secretary of the Union State Sergei Glazyev are personally observing the exercises, according to the Belarusian Defense Ministry's press service.
During the maneuvers, servicemen from both countries practice a wide range of combat missions, demonstrating a high level of interaction and combat readiness. Particular attention is paid to the exchange of experience acquired by the Russian army during the special military operation.
The Belarusian military is acquiring from its Russian colleagues the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively counter modern threats. The Zapad-2025 exercises confirm the commitment of Belarus and Russia to strengthening the defense potential of the Union State, contributing to the enhancement of the compatibility of the armed forces and demonstrating readiness for a coordinated response to security challenges.
