“I must ensure the security of my people and my state. That is why we conduct these snap inspections. [State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr] Volfovich reported to me late in the evening yesterday. He returned from the training ground. They were inspecting the Air Force and Air Defense Forces. Not bad,” the president said.
Now equipment designed to counter drones will also need to be inspected, Aleksandr Lukashenko said. This includes, for example, electronic warfare systems.
“We are also improving the military component. When spring ends, we will draw the appropriate conclusions,” the Belarusian leader added.
