Belarus' Security Council chief, Russian ambassador discuss international security

State Secretary of Belarus' Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev on 25 February, BelTA learned from the State Secretariat of the Security Council.

“The parties discussed Belarus-Russia contacts and promising avenues of cooperation in the field of international security,” the State Secretariat of the Security Council informed.

They reaffirmed their commitment to strategic partnership, closer cooperation and implementation of joint projects in the field of defense and law enforcement.
