Rogozhnik on co-operation with Tatarstan: excellent relations between the leaders are at the head of this work

Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik summarised the results of his visit to Tatarstan.

"Co-operation between Belarus and Tatarstan is developing very dynamically. Excellent relations between the leaders are at the head of this work," the diplomat said. - Today we have already approached $1 billion in trade turnover. With the head of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov we discussed projects that would allow us to overcome this bar. We talked about a big project to renovate tram equipment. An appropriate programme for its renewal will be developed," Alexander Rogozhnik said.
As the Ambassador explained, today we are talking about the renovation of 100 trams, and one of the partners will be the Belarusian enterprise Belkommunmash. Renovation will make it possible to renew the fleet of vehicles at a cost at least twice as cheap as new equipment.
Projects in the petrochemical complex and joint initiatives in industrial production were also discussed with Rais of Tatarstan.
