Direct flights can connect Kaliningrad with Brest and Grodno.

The issue of organizing direct flights between Kaliningrad and the Belarusian cities of Brest and Grodno was discussed at the 20th meeting of the Belarusian-Russian Council for Long-term Cooperation between regions, ministries, and government authorities of Belarus and the Kaliningrad Region of Russia.

Alexey Besprozvanikh, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region, noted the positive dynamics in passenger traffic between the region and Belarus and announced plans to expand the geography of flights.

"It would be nice to expand the geography of flights, because as part of our cooperation, we see from both our side and yours that there is such a need for flights to Brest and Grodno," Besprozvannykh said.

The possibility of launching a flight from Brest is currently being explored. According to the governor, business is interested in this direction, and relevant contacts have already been established.

The issue of Kaliningrad-Grodno flights was also discussed during the visit of the delegation of the Russian region to the Grodno region at a meeting with the chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.
