Belarus to supply machinery to Russia’s Ulyanovsk Oblast

Belarus is ready to provide long-term supplies of passenger, utility, and agricultural machinery to Russia’s Ulyanovsk Oblast, Minsk First Vice Mayor Nadezhda Lazarevich said during the 8th meeting of the working group on cooperation between Belarus and Ulyanovsk Oblast, BELTA reports.

“Work is currently underway with enterprises of the Russian Federation to conclude direct export contracts. Belarus is committed to ensuring long-term deliveries of passenger, utility, and agricultural machinery to Ulyanovsk Oblast,” Nadezhda Lazarevich remarked.

According to her, Belarusian mechanical engineering guarantees high quality and reliability. Over the past six months, numerous units of equipment from Gomselmash, Minsk Tractor Works, and Minsk Automobile Plant have already been delivered and put into operation in Ulyanovsk Oblast. Meanwhile, Mogilevliftmash is preparing to supply elevator equipment in volumes required to meet the region’s needs.

“A significant contribution to the development of trade and economic ties is also made by the light industry. Belarusian producers of textiles and clothing are strengthening their positions in the regional market, which contributes to diversifying the product range and introducing modern technologies in the sector,” the first vice mayor concluded.
