Vyacheslav Volodin re-elected Chairman of Belarus-Russia Union State PA

Vyacheslav Volodin has been re-elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia at a meeting of the 61st session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Minsk on 2 December, BelTA has learned.

The MPs are set to recognize the powers of the Parliamentary Assembly members delegated by the Federation Council and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia and will elect the chairman and deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly.

In addition, new members of the commissions will be approved and chairmen and vice-chairmen will be elected.

One of the main items on the agenda is the discussion of measures to implement Ordinance No. 6 “On the Guiltiness to Implement the Provisions of the Union State Treaty in 2021-2023" adopted by the Supreme State Council of the Union State on 4 November 2021.
