The Union State plans to organize a gathering of silver age volunteers. Currently, a unified program is being developed aimed at improving the quality of life of the older generation. As part of these initiatives, a gathering of volunteers is planned for September 2026 in Vitebsk. About 300 people from Belarus and Russia are expected to participate, which will create opportunities for exchanging experiences and establishing friendly contacts, as well as strengthening cultural ties between the countries.
Irina Kostevich, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Labor and Social Policy of the Parliamentary Assembly, noted: "There are new projects, technologies and solutions, and exchanging experience on these issues will allow the Union State to move forward. This topic is truly relevant and interesting, and we will continue to work in this direction."
In addition, the deputies discussed issues of spa treatment for veterans and disabled people of the Great Patriotic War, as well as projects related to family and maternity capital.
