Participation of Belarusian business in Eurasian integration discussed in Minsk

Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich met with Anatoly Kharlap, Chairman of the Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers) of the Republic of Belarus, a member of the Presidium of the Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Union, in Minsk on 27 January, BelTA learned from the EEC press service.

"The parties discussed the participation of Belarusian business in the Eurasian integration. Mikhail Myasnikovich noted that the EEC looked into the issues raised during the meeting with the Belarusian business community in Brest on 21 June 2021," the press service said.

Mikhail Myasnikovich spoke about digital initiatives and projects to create favorable conditions for business in the EAEU implemented by the EEC. He urged Belarusian business to interact more actively with the EEC, to make proposals for projects and their financing. "The Eurasian Economic Commission is actively working in this area. We have formulated and sent relevant proposals to the governments of the EAEU member states. Initiatives from business are also very important," Mikhail Myasnikovich emphasized.
