Belarus exports $6.5bn worth of products in 2021

Belarus exported $6.5 billion worth of products in 2021, Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Minister Aleksei Bogdanov, who served deputy agriculture and food minister through the end of 2021, told the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.

“The results of 2021: $6.5 billion in foreign currency earnings - an absolute record for our country,” said Aleksei Bogdanov.

According to the minister, the export of Belarusian food products has increased by 44% over the past six years. He also drew attention to the geographic diversification of exports: “We have expanded the list of markets where we sell our goods from 82 to 116 countries. This is also an absolute record.”
