Belarus approves Belarus-Russia draft agreement on microelectronics

The Council of Ministers of Belarus has approved a Belarus-Russia intergovernmental draft agreement on cooperation in microelectronic technologies, design and production of electronic components and electronic engineering as a basis for negotiations. This decision was formalized by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 65 as of 2 February 2022. The document was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA informs.

The Industry Ministry is authorized to conduct negotiations on the draft agreement and to sign it upon reaching an agreement.

The resolution was adopted in accordance with Law No. 421-Z of 23 July 2008 “On international treaties of the Republic of Belarus” and comes into force on the date of its adoption.
