All the border checkpoints on the Ukrainian side of the border with Belarus have suspended operation for an indefinite period of time, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

According to the source, Belarusians, who are returning from Ukraine to Belarus, will have to go through the Ukrainian border checkpoint Vystupovichi (Novaya Rudnya on the Belarusian side of the border). In turn, border checkpoints on the Belarusian side of the border operate as usual.

Information about the organization of departure of Belarusian citizens from Ukraine via other checkpoints is being clarified.

The State Border Committee of Belarus said information about future changes concerning the border crossing procedure will be published as soon as possible.

If people encounter problems with returning to Belarus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises them to stay in touch with Belarusian diplomats.
