Belarus and Russia exchange expertise and knowledge in the field of information security and countering foreign pressure in this area, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum answering a question of a Belarusian journalist whether Russia plans to use Belarus' best practices in the field of information security, BelTA has learned.

“In general, there are appropriate agreements between Russian and Belarusian news agencies, mass media outlets. Our foreign ministries hold consultations; Mr. Mezentsev [State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Dmitry Mezentsev] pays special attention to this matter within the framework of the Union State. We exchange experience, best practices, help each other in some way, and so on,” she said.

“Therefore, this dialogue is very vibrant and uninterrupted,” the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
