Union State PA delegation to take part in IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians

A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia is set to take part in the Ninth Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Hanoi on 15-17 September, BelTA learned from the House of Representatives.

Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism Sergei Klishevich will take part in the event.
The Conference will highlight the rising importance of technology and innovation to accelerate action towards the Sustainable Development Goals. The discussion will focus on three major themes: digital transformation, innovation and startups, and promoting respect for cultural diversity in support of sustainable development.
