Union State MPs to discuss next year's draft budget on 6 June

A joint session of the Economic Policy Commission and the Budget and Finance Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will take place in Dubna, Moscow Oblast on 6 June, the assembly's press service told BelTA.

Participants of the session will discuss matters concerning the development of the draft Union State budget for the year 2023 and progress in the development of new Union State programs, projects, and events. The MPs will also discuss work on improving the legal base of the Union State of Belarus and Russia with regard to the procedure for the development and realization of Union State programs and projects.
While in Dubna participants of the session will get familiar with the work of the local nuclear research institute, including with work being done as part of Belarusian-Russian joint fundamental scientific research projects.
Representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, ministries and government agencies acting as state customers of Union State programs and projects, and representatives of Belarusian and Russian financial, economic, and oversight agencies have been invited to participate in the session.
