Union State MPs to discuss Belarus-Russia education projects

The Commission on Social and Youth Policy, Science, Culture and Humanitarian Issues of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarus-Russia Union State is set to discuss the development of joint Belarusian-Russian education projects and programs. The video conference is scheduled for 20 November, BelTA learned from the PA press service.

“The participants of the meeting will consider the development of joint Union State education projects and programs. MPs will be updated on the results of the Union State project “Development of educational and scientific activity of the Belarusian-Russian University on the basis of innovative technologies”. Plans are also in place to review the results of the meeting of the PA permanent seminar on the Union State development. The theme of the meeting was the integration of the general education systems of Belarus and Russia as the basis for the development of a single educational space of the Union State,” the press service said.

Among those invited to take part in the event are representatives of the Union State Standing Committee, the Education Ministry of Belarus, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Education of Russia.
