The educational departments of Belarus and Russia will approve a joint work plan for the next two years by September

A joint meeting of the boards of the Ministry of Education of Belarus and the Ministry of Education of Russia was held in Minsk. The event was attended by the Secretary of State of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, heads of educational departments of a number of Russian regions, rectors of universities, representatives of RIPO, the scientific community, the media, the correspondent reports soyuz.by.

The head of the Ministry of Education of Belarus, Andrei Ivanets, pointed out the great potential for cooperation with Russia in the educational sphere - from joint projects, internships for teachers and students to work on the unification of educational programs, methodological and software. According to Andrey Ivanets, this is necessary so that young professionals, having received an education and entering the labor market, have common knowledge and competencies.

By September of this year, the Minister said, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation will approve a joint work plan for 2025-2026.

Meanwhile, the current plan of cooperation between the departments contains more than 30 points. Among them: conducting advanced training courses for the teaching staff of school and secondary specialized institutions, organizing a Belarusian-Russian resource center for scientific and methodological support of pedagogical classes, organizing a festival of military-patriotic camps and clubs, events of the Association of Schools of Belarus and Russia, etc.
