The Ambassador of Belarus to Russia summed up the results of export successes at the 25th meeting of the working group

Alexander Rogozhnik, the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia,held the 25th meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on monitoring supplies to the Russian Federation in the videoconference format, reports the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

In his opening remarks, the Ambassador noted the positive results of exports in 2024 to our main market. However, the main part of the meeting was devoted to the analysis of the work of departments and enterprises at the beginning of this year, as well as outlook for the first quarter.

The experts discussed in detail the measures being taken to meet the targets, taking into account the latest economic trends in Russia. Alexander Rogozhnik called on the meeting participants to work more closely with partners to take into account their needs, search for free niches in the market and actively use the network of dealers and distributors.

The results of the participation of Belarusian producers in the 32nd International exhibition of food, drinks and raw materials PRODEXPO-2025 were also discussed. The Ambassador stressed the importance of the active participation of our enterprises in the trade and procurement sessions, agreements on which were reached with the largest Russian retail chains.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the implementation of promising import-substituting investment projects in 2024. Rogozhnik instructed industrialists to strictly follow to schedules for fulfilling obligations and developing new projects to receive financing through Russian government loans.
