The Adviser to the Representative Office of the Union State Post Committee in Minsk visited the Union State Day at the Lepel Military Sanatorium of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus

On September 12, Leonid Azhevsky, Adviser to the Representative Office of the Permanent Committee of the Union State in Minsk, paid a working visit to the state institution Lepel Military Sanatorium of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

In accordance with the work plan of the Standing Committee of the Union State for 2025, the organization of sanatorium-resort treatment for veterans and invalids of the Great Patriotic War and military operations was monitored. During the inspection, all departments of the sanatorium were inspected: the dormitories, the medical building, the club - canteen building, and the territory. The staffing table and qualification characteristics of doctors, average health workers, and canteen workers were analyzed. The availability and effectiveness of the use of medical equipment and medicines, the organization of the work of medical and diagnostic rooms, and the readiness of medical staff to provide emergency care were checked.
The Lepel sanatorium for veterans and the disabled has specially developed a program of stay, diagnostic examination and necessary medical procedures.
Patriotic memorial evenings and events dedicated to the friendship between the peoples of Belarus and Russia are held jointly with the youth.
Today, the sanatorium hosted the Union State Day, during which the participants of the wellness program learned more about all areas of activity for the further construction of the Union State.
Leonid Azhevsky, Adviser to the Representative Office of the Permanent Committee of the Union State in Minsk, donated books from the Library of the Union State to the sanatorium.
