The Republican Center for Additive Technologies has opened in Minsk. The project was implemented as a joint venture between the Belarusian holding company Gorizont and the state corporation Rosatom, according to the official Telegram channel of the Belarusian government.

"I congratulate everyone on the opening of this high-tech production facility. With the support of the President of Belarus, cooperation between the government, state authorities, and Rosatom is rapidly developing in many areas. The opening of the Additive Technologies Center is a shining example of the joint implementation of an innovative project. Additive technologies are already being used by industrial enterprises. This center will provide new impetus for the development of new products and their application in medicine, energy, industry, including aircraft manufacturing, and other high-tech sectors," said Viktor Karankevich.

It was noted that the Belarusian additive technology center will be capable of producing up to 1.5 tons of products from various metals, up to 3 tons of sand-polymer molds, and up to 100 kg of products from engineering plastics per year. Given the specifics of additive manufacturing, which is focused on small- and medium-scale production of products with complex geometries and unique designs, the CAT's production capacity will meet the growing demand for 3D printing technologies in leading sectors of Belarusian industry. Furthermore, the CAT plans to produce small printers for metal printing, which will be in demand in the medical field, research centers, and educational institutions.

An important aspect of the center's work will be collaboration with Gorizont Holding companies in post-processing printed products, including final mechanical processing and the application of specialized coatings that meet individual customer requirements.

This is the first additive technology center (ATC) created with the assistance of Rosatom specialists outside of Russia.
