St. Petersburg signs RUB2.9bn documents for supply of Belarusian goods

A working visit by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin to St. Petersburg has resulted in the signing of documents for the supply of Belarusian products worth RUB 2.9 billion to St. Petersburg, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.

“The agreements reached represent a new stage in the multifaceted relations between Belarus and St. Petersburg, paving the way for more large-scale joint projects and deeper industrial cooperation,” the press service noted.

To mark the visit with a gesture of friendship, St. Petersburg lit its landmark Palace Bridge in the colors of the Belarusian national flag, symbolizing the unique nature of partnership between Belarus and the Russian city.
