"This is the first time we will hold the Businesswomen Forum of the Union State this year," Olga Shpilevskaya announced. "The event will be held jointly with the Ministry of Economy of Belarus. We have a long-standing close relationship with the Union of Women of Russia, not only with the central office, but also with the regions. We already have experience in holding the Belarusian-Uzbek Businesswomen Forum together with the Council of the Republic, and we see that this has yielded concrete results," the speaker emphasized.

The forum is scheduled to be held in Minsk in the second half of May, according to Olga Shpilevskaya. The main focus of the Belarusian-Russian Businesswomen Forum will be on economic cooperation and the convergence of the legal frameworks of the two countries in the business sector. Several contracts are expected to be signed during the forum.

"First of all, we want to bring the positions of female entrepreneurs closer to government agencies, so that all initiatives can be taken into account or explained," said the head of the Business Women's Association, emphasizing that the Forum will provide an opportunity for small and medium-sized business representatives to reach a higher level.
