The parties discussed draft amendments to the Decree of the Supreme State Council aimed at combating the illegal import of goods into the Union State. The amendments provide for the harmonization of the use of navigation seals to track high-risk goods imported from third countries. The draft has been submitted to the Standing Committee of the Union State for review.
The organization and development of cross-border commuter rail service between border territories was also discussed, including along the Smolensk-Orsha and Smolensk-Vitebsk routes. This route will mark a new stage in the integration of the transport systems of Belarus and Russia.
Further development of international air transport was also discussed.
Sergey Glazyev and Andrey Nikitin confirmed their commitment to continued cooperation in the development and operation of the Union State's integrated transport system. Regular meetings of the Coordination Commission on this issue will continue.
