Russian army units leave Belarus after joint army exercise

Units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are about to leave Belarus after the Belarusian-Russian army exercise Slavyanskoye Bratstvo 2020 [Slavonic Brotherhood], the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

Russian troops have loaded all the hardware and personnel onto trains at train stations in Brest and near Grodno and have left for their permanent stations.
The Belarusian-Russian army exercise Slavyanskoye Bratstvo 2020 took place in Belarus on 14-25 September. About 6,000 military personnel and over 500 units of military hardware took part in the exercise.
