President of Russia Vladimir Putin has relieved Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev of his post. The relevant presidential decree has been published on the official legal information website, TASS reports.

Dmitry Mezentsev was appointed Russia's ambassador to Belarus on 30 April 2019.
