Russia’s Tyumen Oblast interested in cooperation with Belarus’ MAZ

Russia’s Tyumen Oblast has expressed interest in the further cooperation with Belarus’ machinery producer MAZ, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.

The Tyumen Oblast delegation led by Deputy Governor Vladimir Cheimetov, visited Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark). The delegation studied operations at the car assembly workshop and the company’s product samples. During the negotiations that followed, the parties expressed mutual interest in continuing cooperation.

Minsk Automobile Plant is one of Belarus’ largest engineering enterprises. It specializes in the production of heavy-duty vehicles, special-purpose equipment, buses, trolleybuses and trailers. Its products comply with Euro-3, 4, 5 and 6 environmental standards. The product line-up exceeds 500 models and 3,000 modifications.
