Russia Day will be celebrated on a large scale at the Minsk International Book Fair

The XXXI Minsk International Book Exhibition will be held in Minsk from March 12 to 16, 2025. The grand opening of the exhibition is scheduled for March 12 at 12:00. In connection with Belarus' chairmanship in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2025, an interactive collective exhibition of the EAEU member states dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory will be presented at the Central Stand. More than 500 exhibitors from 20 countries are expected to participate. A rich cultural and business program awaits the participants and visitors of the exhibition. Each day of the fair will be dedicated to one of the EAEU member states: March 12 is the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, March 13 is the Day of the Kyrgyz Republic, March 14 is the Day of the Russian Federation, March 15 is the Day of the Republic of Belarus, March 16 is the Day of the Republic of Armenia.

Special attention will be paid to Russia Day on March 14th. An extensive cultural program is expected at the Russian stand and the main stage of the fair, in which creative teams, musicians and poets from different regions of Russia, including Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Tatarstan and Chechnya, will perform.
In addition, meetings with resident writers of the large-scale Book Train project dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 will be held on the main stage. The train will depart from St. Petersburg and will follow the route: Minsk - Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod - Kazan - Ulyanovsk - Volgograd. The train will stop in each city for one day to hold meetings with writers and poets. Famous authors such as science fiction writer Dmitry Yemets, author of youth novels Asya Lavrinovich, as well as children's writers Katya Matyushkina and Valentin Postnikov are expected to perform in Minsk. Writers Valery Popov and Oleg Roy and many others will also take part.
