Representative of Russia's WorldSkills team undergoing training in Belarus

A participant and coach of Russia's WorldSkills national team is undergoing training in turning on the machine tools with remote control at the resource center of Orsha State College of Mechanics and Economics on 12 to 22 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Education Ministry.

“The members of the Russian national team are undergoing training as part the preparations for the EuroSkills competitions, which are due in Austria this year. During the internship the Russian participant will master the skills of control and programming, adjustment and fine-tuning of a modern CNC machine that will be used during the EuroSkills championship,” the ministry said.

Members of the Belarusian team under the leadership of Belarusian coach Dmitry Gruk are also taking part in the training. During the joint internship, the members of the two teams will be able to share their skills, discuss and practice advanced skills and improve the use of advanced technology on the latest equipment as part of their preparation for the WorldSkills Shanghai 2022.
