Belarus and Russia are steadily expanding their economic cooperation, Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin told Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Turchin noted that the economic spectrum of Belarusian-Russian relations is broad. The countries cooperate, for example, in energy, industry, and food security.

“Systematic work is underway across all areas. To say that everything is fine and wonderful would probably be inaccurate, and it shouldn’t be that way, because each side has its own interests. But we find mutually beneficial solutions that allow us to increase mutual trade and implement joint projects. This is daily work that is ongoing, and it is going well,” the Belarusian head of government emphasized.
