On the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Union State on September 9, 2025

On a number of Main Directions (traceability of goods, labeling of goods, means of identification, etc.) falling within the competence of the EEU, it was decided to establish regular working communication with the relevant departments of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Supported the proposal to hold meetings of the Working Group of the Standing Committee of the SG on monitoring the implementation of the Main Directions twice a month and to discuss its results monthly at a meeting of the Standing Committee.

Decided to hold a meeting at the site of the Standing Committee with representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on the issue of preparing a forecast for the socio-economic development of the Union State.

Took note of the information on the draft Economic model of the Union State developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus. The responsible officials of the Standing Committee were instructed to ensure control over its further development by the interested ministries and departments of Belarus and Russia.

Instructions were also given to send a request to the Ministries of Finance of Belarus and Russia to receive the results of the consultations on assessing the debt sustainability of the Republic of Belarus.

They heard information about the results of the Union State forum "The role of youth in preserving and protecting historical memory" held on September 5-7 this year in Mogilev. They recognized the appropriateness of involving interested youth, including those representing the Youth Chamber of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, in the ongoing work on developing the Youth policy strategy of the Union State.
