At a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Union State, information was taken into account on the progress of preparation of the agenda items for the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State scheduled for early February of this year.

In particular, they agreed to hold a meeting with the State Secretary and the Deputy Ministers of Economy of Belarus and Russia on the issue of "The implementation of the Guidelines for the Implementation of the Provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State for 2024–2026."
They agreed to prepare a consolidated report on the work of the Standing Committee in 2025. Pursuant to the instruction of the Chairman of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko dated January 6, 2026, No. 20/111-559 P1685, they decided to prepare a list of proposals for discussion with the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation on the issue of improving executive discipline in the bodies of the Union State, with the aim of subsequently organizing a meeting with representatives of the governments of Belarus and Russia and the Parliamentary Assembly.
