Mutual recognition of COVID-19 certificates by Belarus, Russia nearing completion

Speaking at the joint collegium of the health ministries of Russia and Belarus, Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko called the mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccination certificates a technicality, BelTA informs citing the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

“The process of mutual recognition of vaccination certificates for citizens of Belarus and Russia has entered a technical stage, it might be completed in the near future,” he said.

The joint collegium is taking place in Moscow on 13 December. Taking part in it are Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko and his Belarusian counterpart Dmitry Pinevich, State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Dmitry Mezentsev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko. The main topic on the agenda is improvement of the quality control in healthcare.
