MPs to discuss common transport system of Belarus, Russia in Vitebsk

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, which will convene in Vitebsk for a meeting of the 64th session on 19 June, will focus on the efforts to set up a common transport system of the Union State, BelTA learned from the Parliamentary Assembly.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin arrived in Belarus on a working visit today. He will preside over the meeting of the 64th session in Vitebsk. The MPs will hear the reports from the relevant ministers of both countries and will discuss the joint work of Belarus and Russia to develop the common transport system of the Union State.

The MPs will also look into the draft model legislative act "On the system of mandatory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners of the Union State."
