State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev sent a welcoming speech to the participants, guests and organizers of the concert of the youth Belarusian-Russian symphony orchestra, reports a correspondent of the Soyuz.by.

"We cordially welcome the participants, guests and organizers of the concerts of the youth Belarusian-Russian symphony orchestra, which will take place at the leading performance venues of Russia and Belarus: the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky and the Belarusian State Philharmonic. The orchestra's performances are bright events in the cultural life of the Union State. A long-awaited meeting for young talented musicians of fraternal countries," the greeting says.

The Secretary of State noted that this is a unique opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and talents on one stage, since it is important that 2024 marks two significant events at once: the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State.

"Our peoples defended the victory together, defended their freedom and independence, and built a common future together. We wish the young musicians success and creative inspiration to listeners and guests, vivid impressions from contact with high art, goodness and prosperity,” wished Dmitry Mezentsev.
