Concrete legal steps have been taken to create a media holding of the Union State, and now work will be focused on forming a strategy for its development, Information Minister Marat Markov told reporters, BelTA has learned.

"I will outline the practical things that were done in 2024. The media holding of the Union State has been established. All documents have been signed and approved. The charter of the organization has been approved, the supervisory board has been approved and, moreover, the director of the media holding has already been appointed. Registration is underway now," said Marat Markov.
Ekaterina Abramova, Deputy Chairman of the MTRK Mir, has been appointed Director, and she has already started work, the minister noted.
According to him, after a lot of preparatory work and specific legal steps, the company's development strategy, information space development strategy, and the creation of an interstate agreement will determine the rules of operation, including representative offices in Belarus.-0-
