Lipetsk region is interested in Belarusian machinery, cooperation in housing and road construction

Lipetsk region is interested in purchasing different types of Belarusian machinery, cooperation with Belarus in housing and road construction, told Belta.

The topic of cooperation was discussed during the conversations occurred in Moscow with the Minister of Finance of Belarus Yury Seliverstov and the Governor of Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov, told Belta referring to the press service of the Administration of the Russian region.

“The Governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov discussed with the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Belarus Yury Selivestor promising directions of trade and economic partnership as a part of the Lipetsk region Day at the exhibition “Russia” in Moscow. Lipetsk residents show their interest in purchasing the Belarusian bus and snow removal equipment. Another promising direction of cooperation is the housing and road constraction”, – told the press service. 

“The Republic of Belarus for many years enters the top-10 main trade and economic partners of the Lipetsk region and is the leading trade partner among CIS countries. Any achievements are on the basis of friendly relationships and cultural exchange, so we are interested in strengthening of the ties between residents of Lipetsk and belarusians” – said the Governor Igor Artamonov.

Two twinning agreements were also signed in Moscow: the Volovsky district of the Lipetsk region has concluded an agreement with the Lioznensky district of the Vitebsk region, the Lipetsk district with the Berezovsky district of the Brest region.
