A joint board meeting of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, chaired by the two ministers, took place in Minsk on October 1, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Industry reported.

The parties discussed the current cooperation agenda regarding the automotive and agricultural machinery sectors.

Belarusian Minister of Industry Andrei Kuznetsov noted that the dialogue between the two agencies is constructive. "Issues that arise are resolved promptly, taking mutual interests into account and for the benefit of the common market of the Union State. Only through joint efforts can we enhance the technological sovereignty of the Union State," he emphasized.
