The head of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania visited the Minsk Automobile Factory-2. It should be recalled that last October North Ossetia and Belarus agreed on the development of trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation for 2024-2026. Now it is time to implement these agreements in concrete projects. The head of North Ossetia announced the visit on his Telegram channel, emphasizing Belarus' status as one of the key economic partners.

Sergei Menyailo, head of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania, noted: First we will study the possibilities here in the republic, then a delegation from Belarus will visit us. Once we understand the specific directions and proposals that were discussed with responsible persons, we will bring them to the inter-state level».

As for imports into our country, there is a great potential for electronics, metallurgy and agriculture.

Sergei Shlychkov, chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology, added that Belarus is interested in tourism services from North Ossetia - Alanya, although other areas remain relevant. It is important to interact also in the areas of health and education, not only in the real sector of the economy».

The delegation from North Ossetia has scheduled a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, as well as a meeting in the government for tomorrow. As a result of all activities, the cooperation programme for the coming years will be expanded.
