Head of Belarus President Administration visits Moscow, meets with his Russian counterpart

Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi visited Moscow on 17 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

Dmitry Krutoi met with Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino. "The parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues on the Belarusian-Russian agenda. The focus was on the dynamics of contacts at the highest and high levels, ways of intensifying cooperation between the presidential administrations of Belarus and Russia in areas of mutual interest," the press service informed.
The heads of the presidential administrations also touched upon the integration cooperation within the framework of the Union State, including the preparations for the summits to mark the 25th anniversary of the Union State Treaty.
"Dmitry Krutoi and Anton Vaino emphasized the joint efforts to counter sanctions by the collective West, which will be facilitated by further advancement of industrial cooperation, joint programs and investment projects, including in high-tech areas and industries. In this context, the parties noted the important role of cooperation between the regions of the Republic of Belarus and the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in expanding bilateral ties. The parties also talked over humanitarian cooperaiton, inclduing the youth and information policies, the cooepraiton on the historical memory," the press service noted.
The parties agreed to develop working contacts between the presidential administrations of Belarus and Russia.
Dmitry Krutoi also met with other senior offiicals of the Presidential Executive Office and the Government of the Russian Federation.
