Glazyev: the new three-year program of the Union State should be ready by July 15

State Secretary of the Union State Sergei Glazyev announced the intensification of work under the Program of Main Measures for the Development of the Union State for the next three years. Speaking at the dialogue platform "Union State: Time to be the First" within the framework of the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the State Secretary of the Union State recalled that the High Level Group of the Union State had set specific deadlines for the readiness of the program.

"We now have concrete painstaking work to plan the next three-year period," said Sergei Glazyev. "This work should be completed, according to the decisions of the high-level group, on July 15," the State Secretary of the Union State specified.
REFERENCE: The program of the main directions for the implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State for 2027-2029 includes priority vectors and plans for cooperation in macroeconomic, investment and tax policies, interaction in the fields of trade, SMEs, industry, agro-industry, energy, transport, digitalization, tourism, environmental agenda, issues of legal space formation, etc. The three-year planning cycle has been implemented since 2021 and is a traditional format for strategic planning of interaction between Belarus and Russia within the framework of the Union State. The final document should be submitted to the Presidents of Belarus and Russia by the end of this year.
