This year, the Vitebsk Cultural Center celebrates its 75th anniversary. Exactly 70 years ago, on January 15, 1955, after extensive renovations, the Vitebsk City House of Culture opened its doors to the city's residents for the first time. To mark the celebration, an anniversary concert is being held today at the Vitebsk Concert Hall.
State Secretary of the Union State Sergei Glazyev sent a congratulatory message to the staff of the Vitebsk Cultural Center. It was read by Irina Karpovich, Advisor to the Representative Office of the Standing Committee of the Union State in Minsk, reports Soyuz.by.

"I warmly congratulate you on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vitebsk Cultural Center and its seventieth creative season. By preserving its cultural heritage, you are creating conditions for the development of the creative potential not only of the Vitebsk region, but of the Republic of Belarus as a whole," the message reads.
The State Secretary of the Union State emphasized that events held at the highest level annually attract thousands of art enthusiasts, with major international forums becoming particularly significant.
"One of these is the International Arts Festival 'Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk,' which allows people from different countries to speak the same language of music and creativity," said Sergei Glazyev.
With particular warmth, the State Secretary of the Union State noted the fruitful work of several generations of employees, thanks to whom the Vitebsk Cultural Center has earned international prestige and the love and gratitude of audiences.
"I am confident that the accumulated experience, determination, and professionalism will continue to serve as the foundation for new successes for the benefit of the Union State." "I wish everyone good health, peace, and goodness," Sergei Glazyev concluded in his letter of congratulations.
