Glazyev and Rogozhnik discuss priorities of the Union policy agenda at a business meeting

Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik presented Sergei Glazyev, the appointed State Secretary of the Union State, to the staff of the Standing Committee of the Union State. The ambassador also thanked Dmitry Mezentsev for his many years of work in this post and his contribution to the Union State, reported the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

Before the official announcement, Alexander Rogozhnik and Sergey Glazyev held a working meeting, during which they discussed the most pressing aspects of the Union agenda and tasks for the near and medium term. Among the priority areas identified were the creation of equal conditions for business entities in the Union State market, the formation of a common industrial space (including the implementation of import substitution projects), the realisation of the provisions of the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development until 2035 and the modernisation of transport and logistics infrastructure.

Particular attention was paid to ensuring equal rights of citizens of Belarus and Russia, as well as to the issues of preparation and control over the implementation of decisions of the Supreme State Council, the Council of Ministers of the Union State, and high-level groups.
