FM: Belarus-Russia relations reached an unprecedented level

Belarus-Russia relations reached an unprecedented level in 2024, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov said addressing the final board meeting of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BelTA reports.

“Last year, Belarus-Russia relations reached an unprecedented level in all areas of cooperation, including within the Union State,” the minister emphasized.

He went on saying that “last year, we managed to maintain good dynamics in supplies of Belarusian products to this most important market and ensured a solid increase in exports despite a high base (up by 4.8%).”

Maksim Ryzhenkov noted that this year Belarus presides over the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union.

“The head of state has defined economic and social priorities of integration that we will focus on in 2025,” the foreign minister remarked.
