A delegation from Russia's Primorsky Territory headed by Governor Oleg Kozhemyako visited the Belarusian automaker MAZ, BelTA learned from the company.

“We have reached agreements on pilot operation of the MAZ-Kupava ambulance vehicles with the possibility of making adjustments related to the terrain of the region and the requirements of healthcare organizations,” Oleg Kozhemyako said as he spoke about the agreements reached during the visit to the plant. “We discussed the purchase of buses for inter-city transportation. Due to the terrain of the region, the vehicles should be, first of all, highly passable.”

The guests examined the line-up of MAZ passenger vehicles, including a medium class bus MAZ 257. These vehicles are well known in Primorsky Territory as 30 of them are already in operation in the region.

The parties also discussed further deliveries of a unique MAZ garbage truck with rear load, which is extremely comfortable for a city.

Oleg Kozhemyako thanked the plant for timely fulfillment of contractual obligations despite the large order intake and the distance between Belarus and the Far East region.
