Companies from Belarus, Russia's Tatarstan in agreement on civil aircraft manufacturing cooperation

A Belarusian delegation led by Director General of Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No.407 Vladimir Pekarsky is in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation on a visit on 17-20 January, the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia told BelTA.

According to the head of the Kazan branch of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia Viktor Shchetko, members of the delegation met with Tatarstan Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Farit Khanifov. With a view to expanding interaction and cooperation the Belarusian delegation suggested equipment for maintenance and exploitation of road surface.
The Belarusian delegation also met with Nikolai Savitskikh, First Deputy Director General, Director of Kazan Aviation Plant named after S.P. Gorbunov (branch of the Russian industrial group PAO Tupolev). The delegation was made familiar with the operation of the Tulpar Technic company and the Kazan Helicopters company. The sides came to terms on cooperation for manufacturing passenger aircraft components and parts.
The delegation is also expected to meet with Tatarstan Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Ivan Kolchin to discuss other matters of cooperation in the area of substitution of imported components and technical solutions.
