Books from the "Union State Libraries" will be presented in Lida as part of the Day of Writing

The 32 Day of Belarusian Literature will be held in Lida on September 6 and 7. This year, the event is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the 500th anniversary of the publication of the book "Apostle" by Francysk Skaryna, as well as the anniversaries of outstanding figures of national literature.

The grand opening of the "Day of Belarusian Writing" and the award ceremony for the winners of the National Literary Prize and "Lida Readings" will take place on September 6.

The Book and Press Festival will be held as part of the national holiday, where new products of the Belarusian publishing market will be presented.

A presentation of the publishing and educational project "Library of the Union State" will take place in the pavilion of the National Library of Belarus; books of the same-name cycle, union periodicals and methodological materials will be presented at the stand of the Standing Committee of the Union State, reports a correspondent of soyuz.by. The presentation is organized on the eve of the opening of the branch of the Library of the Union State in the NLB.
