BELAZ and Pneumostroymashina launch production of hydraulic pumps for machine-building enterprises

JSC BELAZ is not only successfully adapting to the new economic realities, but also using them to make a breakthrough in development, mastering new product lines and carrying out large-scale modernization of production facilities. Sergey Lesin, the General director of the company, spoke about the key projects of one of the flagships of the Belarusian industry on the eve of the Machine Builder's Day, the correspondent reports Soyuz.by .

Separately, Lesin highlighted the integration project with the Russian company Pneumostroymashina. On September 22, the Hydraulic United Company joint venture for the production of hydraulic pumps for the needs of BelAZ, MTZ and Gomselmash will be launched in Pinsk. The volume of investments in the project amounted to more than 22 million rubles.

According to Sergey Lesin, in order to maintain its leading position in the global mining machinery market, BELAZ is actively investing in technological modernization of production. In the first half of this year, about Br180 million was invested in fixed assets, and by the end of the year the total investment will exceed Br220 million. These funds were used to purchase 45 units of high-precision equipment, and by the end of the year their number will increase to 70.

"Among the major projects being implemented at the enterprise are the modernization of the main production, the reconstruction of the dump truck assembly shop with a lifting capacity of 130-240 tons and the installation of a new robotic paint complex. In addition, it is planned to organize the production of wheel rims for mining dump trucks in Orsha. The total investment in this project will amount to about Br115 million," said the CEO of BelAZ.

Another important area is import-substituting ring-rolling production, which has been allocated more than Br260 million. The launch of this production is scheduled for 2026. The implementation of investment projects will allow BelAZ to increase its competitiveness and the level of product localization. These projects are included in the intergovernmental agreement and are financed, among other things, by credit funds allocated by the Government of the Russian Federation.
